BLACK CAMPAIGN OF OBAMA'S POLITICAL ENEMIES

This is the black campaign of Barack Obama's political enemies. They seem to have lost their mind in response to the growing popularity of Obama ahead to this year's US presidential elections. Of course, they do not want him to win the elections because Obama will be the first Afro-American who becomes president of the United States. Obama's familial and multi-cultural backgrounds may have caused his political enemies to be so concerned with his possible victory. His unique backgrounds are part of his power that are not owned by his rival -- the Republican. In the picture, Obama and his wife are wrongly portrayed as terrorists and enemies of America. In order to strengthen the misleading image of Obama in the eyes of the American public, the black campaigners put Osama bin Laden's portrait in the background. Due to the fact that the picture is opted by the New Yorker magazine as its front cover, it becomes so clear for me that both the owner and senior editors of this media outlet have surrendered themselves to the short-minded Americans -- the status-quo camp, who hates any regime change in D.C., and the leadership change in the White House. They do not want to see the hegemony of White Americans ended. This black campaign is indeed not a good political lesson for anybody in America and the democratic world! This is disgusting!!!

About Me

My photo
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
Hi, I am a journalist of ANTARA, Indonesia's national news agency whose headquarters is in Jakarta. My fate has brought me back to Australia since March 2007 because my office assigns me to be the ANTARA correspondent there. My first visit to the neighboring country was in 2004 when I did my masters at the School of Journalism and Communication, the University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, under the Australian Development Scholarship (ADS) scheme. However, the phase of my life was started from a small town in North Sumatra Province, called Pangkalan Brandan. In that coastal town, I was born and grown up. Having completed my senior high school there in 1987, I moved to Medan to pursue my study at the University of North Sumatra (USU) and obtained my Sarjana (BA) degree in English literature in 1992. My Master of Journalism (MJ) was completed at UQ in July 2005. The final research project report for my MJ degree was entitled "Framing the Australian Embassy Bombing (Jakarta) in Indonesian and Australian Newspapers". Further details about me can be read in a writing posted in my blog entitled "My Life Journey".
