THIS KILLER FINALLY CAPTURED

Families and friends of Bosnian Muslim and Bosnian Croat population have finally felt relieved. Radovan Karadzic, former Bosnian Serb leader who was responsible for the massacre of thousands of Muslim men, women, and children during the 1990s' Bosnia Herzegovina war, was captured after being hunted for 13 years. The Serbian government announced his arrest on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Now this war criminal is waiting for the coming of justice for his crimes against humanity. He will have been tried in the Hague. Radovan is not alone in doing the ethnic cleansing of Muslims in the heart of Europe. He did that with other Serbian leaders, both civilian and military. Slobodan Milosevic (died in his cell) and killer general of Bosnian Serbian armed forces, Ratko Mladic (fugitive) are among those whose hands were full of the victims' blood. Sooner or later, Mladic will also be captured and brought to justice. Their crimes against humanity will never be forgotten in the world's history -- the shameful and ugly history of Europe in the post-World War II era!!!

About Me

My photo
Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
Hi, I am a journalist of ANTARA, Indonesia's national news agency whose headquarters is in Jakarta. My fate has brought me back to Australia since March 2007 because my office assigns me to be the ANTARA correspondent there. My first visit to the neighboring country was in 2004 when I did my masters at the School of Journalism and Communication, the University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, under the Australian Development Scholarship (ADS) scheme. However, the phase of my life was started from a small town in North Sumatra Province, called Pangkalan Brandan. In that coastal town, I was born and grown up. Having completed my senior high school there in 1987, I moved to Medan to pursue my study at the University of North Sumatra (USU) and obtained my Sarjana (BA) degree in English literature in 1992. My Master of Journalism (MJ) was completed at UQ in July 2005. The final research project report for my MJ degree was entitled "Framing the Australian Embassy Bombing (Jakarta) in Indonesian and Australian Newspapers". Further details about me can be read in a writing posted in my blog entitled "My Life Journey".
